The rights, responsibilities, and standards that govern every Future 360 League franchise.

Purpose
Future 360 League™ is built around a franchise model that promotes long-term stability, leadership, accountability, and community involvement. Each franchise represents more than a basketball team — it is a year-round organization committed to developing young athletes and upholding the standards of the league.
Franchise ownership is considered a privilege, not a right. All franchise owners are expected to operate with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the mission of Future 360 League.
Franchise Structure
Each franchise consists of one team at each grade level:
- 10 Players
- 1 Head Coach
- 1 Assistant Coach (optional)
- Team Parent (optional)

Owner Rights
Franchise Owners have the right to:
- Operate one Future 360 franchise
- Participate in league meetings
- Draft eligible players
- Hire approved coaches
- Participate in league voting (when applicable)
- Operate under the official Future 360 League brand
- Promote their franchise within league guidelines
- Recruit approved sponsors
- Participate in league events
Owner Responsibilities
Each Franchise Owner agrees to:
- Represent Future 360 League professionally
- Follow all league rules
- Pay all required league fees
- Hire qualified coaches
- Maintain positive relationships with parents
- Ensure player safety
- Attend required owner meetings
- Promote sportsmanship
- Support league initiatives
- Protect league reputation
Franchise Branding Standards
- Official logo
- Official colors
- Official uniforms
- Official typography
- Official naming conventions
- Alter logos
- Change colors
- Create alternate uniforms
- Produce unauthorized merchandise
- Modify league branding
Sponsorship Rights
Franchise owners may secure local sponsors with league approval. Examples include local businesses, restaurants, law firms, realtors, medical providers, and community organizations.

Coach Selection
Franchise owners may recommend coaches. All coaches must complete the following:
- Complete league application
- Pass background screening
- Complete required certifications
- Agree to league policies
- Receive league approval
Parent Relations
- Foster respectful communication
- Resolve concerns professionally
- Support coaches
- Encourage positive sideline behavior
- Protect the player experience
Community Expectations
Each franchise should:
- Participate in community service
- Support league events
- Promote youth development
- Represent Memphis positively
- Encourage academic achievement
Owner Discipline
Violations may result in escalating action, up to and including:
- 01Verbal warning
- 02Written warning
- 03Financial penalties
- 04Suspension
- 05Loss of draft privileges
- 06Removal from league committees
- 07Franchise probation
- 08Franchise termination
Franchise Transfer
A franchise may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or otherwise conveyed without prior written approval from Future 360 League. The league reserves the right of first refusal on any proposed transfer.
Any approved transfer must include:
- League review of the proposed new owner
- Completion of the franchise application process
- Background check
- Execution of a new Franchise Agreement
- Payment of any applicable transfer fee
- Settlement of all outstanding franchise obligations
Franchise Termination
Future 360 League may terminate a franchise agreement for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Failure to pay required fees
- Repeated violation of league policies
- Conduct detrimental to the league
- Unsafe environment for players
- Fraud or misrepresentation
- Unauthorized use of league intellectual property
- Failure to maintain operational standards
Intellectual Property
All Future 360 League intellectual property remains the exclusive property of the league, including league name, league logo, franchise names, franchise logos, team identities, graphics, website, photography, video content, statistics, rulebook, training materials, and marketing assets.
Franchise owners receive a limited license to use these materials only during the term of their franchise agreement and in accordance with league branding guidelines.
Franchise owners are partners in delivering a first-class youth basketball experience, but the league maintains centralized control over governance, branding, competition, and operations. Every owner is expected to uphold the values of Future 360 League™ and contribute to a safe, competitive, and development-focused environment for every player and family.
